Mr J’s is situated at the top of the small hill in between Mare Haad and Sairee Beach, it is nestled in the hill side and the bungalows go down the hill towards the quite end of Mae Haad Beach. At the bottom of the hill the beach is only 1 minute away and is a great spot to sit and watch the sunset.

Mr J’s shop has one of the largest selections of books on the island and his shop sells everything from beer to fireworks (good combination) and from first aid kits to bags and clothing. I stayed at this bungalow resort for 2 weeks and found everyone here very helpful and the bungalows very clean and spacious. You can also hire motor bikes from Mr J and if you’re staying there as well, you can always ask for a discount on the motorbike rental. Unfortunately Mr J. does not have a restaurant but don’t be put off by this as there are lots of local, good cheap restaurants within a few minutes’ walk and most of them on the beach at the bottom of the hill.
